Despite a degree in Chemical Engineering, I chose a career in finance and worked in KPMG's offices in London, Gatwick and Maidstone. I was one of the original members of KPMG's M&A practice in London and founded Meta Corporate Finance in 1999. I was awarded the ICAEW Corporate Finance Qualification in 2006 and sit on the steering committee of the Kent Corporate Finance Alliance.
I am the head of EMEA for CDI Global, a worldwide M&A network.
With 30 plus years’ experience in M&A, I like to help nurture owner managed and entrepreneurial businesses to position themselves to meet shareholder objectives whether that be to maximise liquidity events or to plan for family succession. I am an expert in designing transaction structures to meet complex shareholder requirements whether that requires external capital or not. I also enjoy working closely with other trusted advisers to get the best for our clients.
